THE FEMALES AT MCGUFFEE POLLED HEREFORDS are a tremendous part of our program. In 2012, Joe, Ryan and Walker McGuffee began to rebuild our registered herd. We achieved this by starting an ET program, to take advantage of 200 Black Baldie mothers and eggs from some of the best Hereford herds in the country. We have also purchased some outstanding donor dams, which serve as the foundation to our new beginning. Today, at McGuffee Polled Herefords, you can find some of the top performing cattle in the South. We produce cattle suited for both the show ring, and for the farmer who needs good maternal cattle that will perform in the pasture. We recognize that a show heifer must be both successful in the show ring and serve as a functional cow for the years following her show career.
